Audio CompanderBuilt-in audio compander compresses the audio pre-transmission and expands it post-receiver. As a result, the signal to noise ratio improves to provide clear audio.
Remote Kill/Stun/Activate/ReviveIf the radio is killed or stunned, all attempts to operate except power on/off, will be ignored. The radio will be activated or revived only when it receives the correct code.
Lone workerThe radio enters emergency mode if the user does not respond to a warning call ("Lone-Worker") ,adding security and safety for individuals who work remotely and/or for extended periods.
Tough and rain resistantBuilt to be robust and withstand hash environments, the PT6500 is IP54 certified. It also meet MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F environmental standards.
GPS (Optional)The PT6500's GPS function, supported by control centre and management software, allows the operator to be located instantly. This can be either to dispatch among a work-group or to locate in an emergency call.
