Supported Analog Signaling
CTC/DCS-50 groups of standard CTCSS and 83 groups DCS are available (PC programmable). Built-in CTCSS/DCS Encoder/Decoder can prevent co-channel interference and unwanted conversations on the same frequency to ensure smooth communication.

Compact design - PT4200 radio is easy to carry.

Channel Annunciation
The current channel number can be heard when the channel knob is rotated.

Scan
The radio can continuously scan each channel in the scan list to look for an active conversation.

Busy Channel Lockout
Prevents interference with an on-going conversation. If BCL is ON the radio cannot transmit on the busy channel.

Emergency Alarm
Pressing the emergency button can trigger a loud siren to give an alarm.

Monitor
The user can monitor whether the current channel has a signal by pressing the pre-programmed key. The monitor function is used to receive a weak signal.
